A Life Inspiration behind Kristine Lucas Journey
What struck me most during the presscon was this life lesson:to make sure and invest in your skills and God-given talents, to take time to study and develop your potential. No one can steal your skills & talents from you. These will help you achieve your dreams.
Kristine Lucas experienced poverty as a child but this didn't stop her from developing her potential. She invested in herself, studied and worked hard and eventually became successful in her field. Now, she is actively helping young and old women alike achieve their dreams as well. She focuses on women empowerment through aesthetics.
Learning should never stop. Everyday, we need to keep learning, improving and becoming a better person. And when you reach your goal, be sure you duplicate yourself and help others achieve theirs, too. Share and make a difference wherever you are. Being beautiful starts from being happy within. It is really true that your looks reflects how are you feeling inside. So stay happy.
Kristine "Tin" Lucas, is a loving wife, mother of three and an entrepreneur. Before venturing into the aesthetics industry, her first stint was as a marketing
manager for a well-known I.T. company. Though already successful in her initial career, her innate skills and love for makeup keeps resurfacing. What started as a hobby that she enjoyed for herself slowly found its way to family and friends. This then made her decide to finally take formal training which eventually led to a ton of opportunities and endless possibilities than she expected.
She started training locally at The Basement Academy (now called HD Academy), Center for Aesthetics Sciences (CAS), Makeup Forever & Kryolan Philippines.
To further improve her skills and equip herself with the necessary tools to realize her dream of creating not only a name in the industry but to provide quality service to her clients, she then pursued further studies abroad. She also became a guest umakeup artist for the infamous Jing Monis Salon in Greenbelt and Alabang. Jing Monis is a well-known Makeup and Hairstylist with over 25 years of experience and presence in the industry.
Slowly carving a name for herself in the industry, she started doing several projects for TV networks and their personalities. Kristine Reyes, Danica Sotto, Denise Laurel, Jonalyn Viray and Tweetie De Leon & even the famous broadcast journalist – Mike Enriquez to name a few.

"Everyone is Beautiful. Let me enhance it naturally and not mask the real beauty of the person". - Tin
Her advocacy is to empower women through having a fulfilling business that they love. She said, "We teach and groom our students to be independent women, able to provide for their family while doing something that they wont feel like they’re working at all, because as they say, when you're doing something you love, you won't work a day in your life. By teaching topics in the beauty business, women get to earn a living doing something they enjoy and at the same time make their clients feel happy and confident.'
Each year during their anniversary, Kristine's company grants scholarship to a deserving student. 'Aside from that, we support the poorest of the poor areas of TESDA in the south, where not only the school but as well as the students donate beauty products for the use of TESDA scholars in their Beauty Trainings in the said areas. We also had a donation drive of toiletries to a poor barangay in Samar. The students were all excited and very happy to be able to help in their own way
